The Magical Autumn in the Valley of Ambroz

It's November, and the Valley of Ambroz celebrates the arrival of autumn with an extense program of cultural and playful activities.

The festival begins with the goal of promote the tourism of Valley of Ambroz zone beyond the summer calendar, and to recover old traditions of the region.

Different activities are programmed each weekend at November: music, concerts, theater, walking, trekking..

The first weekend take place the traditional Gran Calbotá. Every year hundreds of people meets in the country. The neighbors and visitors join to take roasted chestnuts, dry figs and drain, accompanied by folk music.

Music and theater are part of the tradition of the festival. Local groups and known artists play their music on weekends. Also, the Rock Festival is celebrated during these dates.

Photographic rallies, fishing, sports and nature, cooking, walking... Many cultural and festive events for all the villagers and visitors.

You can visit the Valley of Ambroz every season, but November is a magical time here.

The Valley of Ambroz is located in the north of Caceres and the zone includes those towns and villages: Abadía, Aldeanueva del Camino, Baños de Montemayor, Casas del Monte, La Garganta, Gargantilla, Hervás y Segura de Toro.
