Alberjerte is a modern rural hostel is located in El Torno, a beautiful town in the Valley of Jerte (Valle del Jerte), a well known touristic zone in Spain.

The hostel was an old building in the town, located in the main square. Now it has been restored, preserving some of the original elements and materials, like stone and wood. It is a modern hostel with the charm of the old building.

Alberjerte has 12 rooms, for 2, 4, 6 and 8 people. Rooms are spacious and luminous, and have bunk beds. There are individual table and chairs.

Bathrooms are shared. The place has four bathrooms, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor, separate for men and women.

On the first floor there is a common area with sofa, table and chairs and wireless Internet, to share the time in a cozy place, outside the rooms.

The attic is one of the most privileged zones of the hostel, since it has a large room with computers and TV, plus large roof terrace with magnificent views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

Visitors can also enjoy the garden.

The hostel's restaurant offers delicious dishes, including traditional dishes.

Alberjerte offers numerous outdoor activities: hiking, routes, visits to Monfragüe National Park (one of the best European birdwatching zones). Cycling, horseback riding, hiking and astronomical nights, paintball, multi-adventure activities in the treetops.

Jerte Adventure Park offers fun for young and old people. This park on the top of trees includes exciting games to go from tree to tree without touching the ground.
